I have a new book out: STILL THE RIVER FLOWS: WINTER SOLSTICE AND CHRISTMAS RITUALS IN A CARPATHIAN VILLAGE. It includes bilingual (Ukrainian-English) lyrics of songs from these pre-Christian rituals and detailed descriptions of the rituals themselves which are still practiced in mountain villages in Ukraine. I worked on this beautiful book with Virlana Tkacz and it includes amazing photos by Alexander Khantaev. There’s a great review and description of the book here! Plus info on how you can purchase it:
